Actress Janhvi Kapoor never fails to grab the limelight on social media every time she drops a post. From sharing her sexy photo shoots, and candid pictures to funny reels, the Dhadak actress keeps her loyal fan base all hooked and entertained. On Friday, Janhvi shared a video where she recreated a scene from Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster film ‘Om Shanti Om.’ While many liked Janhvi’s version of Shaanti, a few users trolled her.

Taking to her Instagram handle, the Mili actress posted a funny reel, captioning, “Yeh Shaanti kuch alag lag rahi hain.” In the video, the 25-year-old actress is seen mouthing Deepika’s dialogues while standing under a chandelier. Janhvi said, “Isi jhoomar ke neeche, isi jhoomar ke neeche milegi Shanti ki laash,” and just then the camera panned out towards her friend who was seen lying on the floor and laughing. Boney Kapoor’s daughter looked drop-dead gorgeous in a silver gown that showed off her ample cleavage. Reacting to this, one user said, “Ye shanti nahi... Shantilal hai.” Another netizen wrote, “Shanti ko ubaal diya kya pani mai .. fuul gayi shanti.” One comment read, “As a well wisher… this is cringe. Not funny at all. In an interview with Galatta Plus, the Good Luck Jerry actress revealed that her social media is to have fun and maybe to get more brands to help ‘pay her EMIs.’ Janhvi was quoted saying, “My social media is for me to have fun. Hopefully, if I look cute and five extra people like my pictures, I’ll get another brand and I’ll be able to pay for my EMIs with more ease than I was before.”

Work-wise, she was recently seen in the film ‘Mili’ which is a remake of the Malayalam movie ‘Helen’. The movie was released on November 4.
